How I Got My Start

I started my alterations business August 1, 1990, and sat up my shop in Bismarck, North Dakota as Personally Yours Alterations. I operated my business solely until May 1991. At that time my business was growing quickly and I hired employees. I have had many employees during my 30 years in business. A few of my employees have gone on to start their own businesses. I retired from Personally Your Alterations in July 2014, and closed my shop. Shortly thereafter, I started my home-based business, Mary's Formal Wear Alterations. My focus is limited to formal wear alterations. I attribute my reputation to the lasting customer relationships I developed throughout the years. I believe that all of my customers deserve the highest level of service, and I am committed to providing just that.
